Steel StairsStylecraft steel stairs are fully engineered and manufactured to meet the structural requirements of ASNZS1170. There are a number of different designs to choose from. One of the more popular designs is the central steel stringer with cantilevered timber treads. For a more minimalist look there is the option of using flat plate steel stringers which run up each side of the stair supporting the treads. Other options include twin steel stringers or hiding the steel stringer in the wall to give the treads a floating appearance.
There are many finishing options for the steel stringers including powder coating, zinc spraying and galvanising or boxing in with timber.
Steel stairs can be used in interior or exterior situations.
