At Stylecraft Stairways, we understand that the sales process can be complicated and time-consuming. That's why we've developed a streamlined process to make things as easy as possible for our clients.
The first step is to receive plans for quoting from the builder, architect, or developer. Our quotes team then draft a quote, which typically takes around 3-5 days. We will then follow up with you to ensure that everything is quoted as required.
Once the order is placed and confirmed, we need to know the desired delivery dates for the stairs, handrails, and balustrade. This allows us to plan our production schedule and ensure everything is delivered on time.
After the lower frames and upper floors are in place, we can do a site measure. If you're based in Wellington, we'll take care of this for you. We offer a simple DIY site measure process if you're located elsewhere. Depending on the scope of your project, sometimes we can measure well in advance of needing to make stairs, and in other instances, we don't need to. We'll schedule the site measure based on the job due date, but if you can let us know when your framing is up, it will allow for better planning.
Once a job is site-measured, our quotes team will ensure that the ordered items match the physical site measure. We'll send a revised quote for approval if any changes are necessary. At this stage, cash customers will be sent a 50% deposit request before their job can progress to design.
The stair is designed, which typically takes between 3 days and 3 weeks, depending on complexity and volume. If requested, we can send drawings for approval. We do this by default if we haven't conducted the site measure and a job won't progress to the Production Queue until it's signed off by you
Once in the Production queue, we will then contact you closer to your due date to confirm your timing. Once confirmed the stairs move into Production.
Once the stair is in production, it typically takes 2-5 days to complete, depending on the design and volume. Our accounts team will send the final invoice to cash customers, which must be paid before delivery is booked. An invoice will be populated for on-account customers, due the following month.
Finally, our freight team will call you to book the delivery. Our standard delivery is Curbside Delivery Only and as such so we do ask that you have additional staff on site to help offload. The Health and Safety of both our team and our customers are paramount, so should the stairs be large and or heavy, a HIAB delivery may be included in your quote. Knowing these ahead of time is key should there be any access issues with your site.
We'll ensure that everything is delivered on time and to your satisfaction.
Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is unwavering, and we are always willing to work with our clients to ensure they are satisfied with our products and services.
