When can I get a site measure done?
We can measure as soon as your first floor frames are in place.
Do you offer an installation service?
Carpet grade, timber & exterior stairs are mostly installed by your builder, however in some situations we will be able to include installation with our quote.
If you are interested in this service please let us know along with your quote request.
I want to replace my existing balustrades, is this something you can help with?
We are only able to supply new balustrades with new staircases. Unfortunately, replacing existing balustrades on existing stairs is not an area that our team specialises in. If you are looking at replacing your staircase as well, we will be more than happy to help you. Feel free to check out our blog on this topic for a more detailed explanation of the process. Usually you will need to start by talking to an architect or builder as this blog outlines.
I see you're based in Wellington & Auckland, but my project is in Queenstown/Christchurch/Hamilton/Tauranga. Do you work in my area?
Yes, we work New Zealand wide. Our head office and main factory is located in Porirua, Wellington with a smaller office and factory in Onehunga, Auckland. If you view our gallery you will see examples of projects we have completed all around New Zealand. Please contact us with plans and details of your project and we'll see how we can work with you for a great outcome.
The council is asking me for a PS1, is this something you can help with?
Yes, sometimes! We have a range of PS1s available for timber balustrades. To request a PS1 you will need to send us a copy of your plans and any RFIs the council have sent to you (if you have already submitted your project). We reserve the right to assess each project on an individual basis as to whether or not we can provide a PS1. In order to send you a PS1, we usually require either a confirmed order for the supply of the project, a small non-refundable deposit to be paid, or for you to sign a memorandum of understanding that if the project proceeds, you will contract us to complete the work for you.
